SAM SMITH IN CONCERT:British singer Sam Smith had a huge 2012, rising to international acclaim virtually overnight as the featured singer on Disclosure's breakout single "Latch." Since then, the young belter has established an impressive following in his own right with an appearance on the Naughty Boys' No. 1 single "La La La" as well as several preview cuts from his 2014 studio debut In the Lonely Hour. I bought the tickets for my daughters 16th birthday. We made it a girls night out with another friend and her mom. We all LOVED the show. The set was amazing. We also enjoyed the free CD that we received. Both girls bought T-Shirts and slept in then that night. Both girls were dancing and singing the whole show. I would go see him again. Vocal Mom

This night was unforgettable. Just as I thought he couldn't get any better he proved my wrong. He sounds incredible live, definitely one of the best, if not the best, live performer I've ever heard. He also has a way of making his audience alive with his stage presence. And can't go wrong with his British accent and clear blue eyes! I guess you can say I'm obsessed now.

Sam Smith is one of the best new vocalists around, he was an outstanding live performer. The crowd loved him and knew most if not all of his songs, which created a fun atmosphere. My only complaints are that the set was brief, about an hour only (not too surprising given he's a new artist) and that the venue was so crowded I couldn't get as close to the stage as I would have liked, but that's partly my own fault for not arriving earlier.

We chose to watch from the balcony upstairs. However standing at the balcony the sound was muffled and bad. We sat in the bar area and the sound was so much better. Sam Smith sounded great, almost cd quality! Too bad there weren't tvs in the bar so we could also see him on the stage.

He put on a solid show, very few talking breaks, he was so humble, you could see him blushing when people screamed his name. If you think the acoustic songs are amazing, wait until you see him in person. it is 100 times better. Highly recommended!!!

I was speechless when I left Webster Hall. I already new that he would be phenomenal, but even though I was just amazed by his talent. Awesome stage presence, great connection with audience, and a genuine humbleness that cant be bought for money! I can't wait to see him again, hopefully in Denmark next time where I'm from. Furthermore, the band was extremely tight! Brilliant musicians! If I'm to mention one negative thing, it would be that the sound at Webster Hall isn't as good as one would hope. Thank you Sam Smith. I have been and will be a huge fan for a loooooong time. .

Let's be real. Sam Smith hasn't even released a full album, and he is selling out shows INTERNATIONALLY. It takes some incredible talent to do that, and that's exactly what Sam Smith has. Beyond his incredible voice, he's extremely personable and likable. I go to many concerts and have to say that this has been one of my favorites of all time...and I don't even like Webster Hall :) 2014 will be the year of Sam Smith (in fact, it already has)

One would think that based on the rhythm of the songs it would be a chiled not so groovy concert but that is not what happens. Sam Smith delivered a spectacular performance with enough groove to keep me off my seat pretty much the entire time. He s accompanied by an excellent group of BV s and band who truly help keep the momentum going for the entirety of the show.

I've wanted to see Sam Smith live in concert for a long time now and my god, am I glad I finally did. Sam Smith is an incredibly talented dude. His voice is powerful and beautiful. You can see the passion and emotion behind every song he sings. He's so humble, too - you could really see that he was overwhelmed by the response he received by the audience and that it meant a lot to him that we were there to see him perform. Although he doesn't have any special effects or fancy stage mechanisms (aside from a raised platform and a staircase), he still gives you chills from his voice alone. Excellent concert. I wouldn't hesitate to see him again.

I had ordered ADA seating because I use a wheelchair. By the time we got that seating changed we missed the opening act. Apparently the venue had problems with the sound system. After one song Smith walked off the stage without explanation. After ten minutes it was announced there were technical problems. After fifteen more minutes Smith came back and had the audience enthralled with his honesty and talent.

To say that the show was amazing would just be down right disrespectful. It was out of this world fabulous. He is a talent that should be compared to the likes of Michael Jackson and Elton John. I saw Sam Smith three years ago at Merriweather Post Pavilion and was so impressed that I convinced my wife and daughter to see him on his current 2018 tour. This show was much better produced and included many songs from his newest release, as well as some of his older hits. The backup singers and band on this tour seemed to be more powerful as well, and added to the enjoyment of the show. The set was basic in terms of other shows I've seen, but his voice remains the highlight, with no need for special effects. I put his voice in the top three that I've seen live, along with Adele and Andrea Bocelli. He was very personable and chatted between songs, and seemed genuinely thankful to those who attended. Two thumbs up and I'd most likely see him again, when he returns to the area.

I have seen Sam Smith before in the same exact venue 3 years ago. He completely blew me away both times. You can truly tell he is having the time of his life and really enjoys the atmosphere of being on tour and reaching out to fans. I will forever be a huge fan of him, and if you haven t seen him yet, I suggest you get a ticket!!

Sam Smith was truly authentic and genuine every second of his concert. The facility was awesome. The VIP package that I purchased was sweet and I highly recommend that to anyone who is a true fan! The concert was over in a flash, which tells me that I truly was wrapped up into the music. I have been looking forward to this particular concert for months!

I ve been to hundreds of concerts in my 40+years. Sam Smith, without doubt, is by far one of the most amazing live performances I ve ever seen. First time to Maddison Sq did not disappoint. Entry to the building and acces to our seats was smooth and unhindered. We were quite high up but still felt very close to the stage. In fact it felt like our tickets were a bargain! Sam was incredible, his show was fantastic. All four of us who attended think Sam is a world wide icon in the making.

Sam Smith is an excellent performer who gives his all to his concert. He was very personal with the audience and has a voice of silk. Abigail at customer service was so professional as she helped me find better seats when I got sick from the vertigo of being seated at 215 . I got the tickets as a gift and didn t realize how high it was . Aiden and I Abigail at customer service was so professional and she helped me find better seats Aiden an usher was beyond professional as he was courteous and went out of his way to please us. Thank you for hiring such wonderful staff. It really makes me want to come back for more concerts and recommend Barclays Center to others.

The stage and Sam Smith was amazing!! I will say that the quotes on the screens before were and little hard to read and my mom had a hard time seeing due to the person next to her and the person in front of her but other than that we were not disappointed! Sam Smith was amazing and we were very happy!

He was so good. 3rd time I have seen him. I saw him in Detroit at The Masonic Temple last tour, I also saw him in Cleveland. This is one of the BEST concerts I have ever seen. That is what I do for pleasure, to go to concerts. He was so sweet and full of energy. He sings through me. Not to me. What he sings I feel in my soul. THANK YOU SAM! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! Will see you at the United Center in Chicago. I wish you were somewhere else close, I would be going to that too.

Sam Smith was an amazing performer. The venue was good but we did not get the items that were promised to us when we bought our tickets. We were supposed to get a private pre party with food, beer and wine. Never got it and very poor communication. Buyer beware

I love Sam Smith! I have since I hear Nirvana way back when he was full figured and less famous but even I had my doubts on how entertaining a one man (who doesn t dance) show could be but rest assured he does NOT disappoint! The show was great from start to finish. He sung some of his best hits and even a few songs that only super fans of his music might know. I would totally go to see him live again.

Lets just say his voice doesn't sound any different that on his soundtrack. He came to Utah for the first time & I'm so glad I got to be there. "I'm not the only one" gave me chills! His high voice is like an angel, will not be missing another Sam Smith concert here in SLC!

This concert was truly awesome!! His opening entrance was breathtaking! The voice on that man is one like no other, the fact that he sounds just lIke his record is a true talent; Sam Smith is a talent and an artist that loves and respect his fans and this concert shows that.
